Friends and family of a woman from Dunmore who lost her battle with cancer are planning their sixth annual fundraiser, Judi H Rock On 6, to support the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute in her memory. Judi Hartridge was a vibrant and giving nurse, who passed away after a year-long battle with cancer in December 2007.
To honor her memory, family and friends formed a committee- Judi H Rock On, to raise funds to fight the disease that claimed her life.
On Saturday, Oct. 1, the committee will host, Judi H Rock On 6, a dance party, at St. Mary’s Center from 6 to 11p.m. The event will feature live music from three legendary bands on one stage – Paul LaBelle and the Exact Change, Old Friends, The Gene Dempsey Orchestra, along with singer/songwriter Janice Gambo Chesna.
